Prest and Slide & Lock Pallet Rack are two distinct brands of pallet racking that share many similar features. Most prominent among their shared similarities are their uprights. The upright design of Prest and Slide & Lock is nearly identical - in fact - most people looking at them side by side wouldn't be able to tell them apart. The differences lie in the beam clip styles. While both Prest and Slide & Lock pallet rack styles have beams that attach to the rear side of the upright, Prest beams are composed of only one piece. Prest pallet rack is usually orange (beams) and light blue (uprights).Slide & Lock beams utilize left-hand(silver) and right-hand(gold) clips as well as a kotter pin to secure the beams to the uprights. Slide & Lock pallet racking is usually orange (beams) and light blue or orange (uprights).Most Prest and Slide & Lock can be used together interchangeably, however there are some models that will not work with others.
